QuillBot, a startup developing AI tools that intelligently rewrite text, announced today it has raised 4 4 million in funding. New capital in hand, the founders hope to make QuillBot a comprehensive editing platform, with modules that summarize information from articles and full paragraphs by grouping informed sentences by intention. Planning QuillBot is also to establish a laboratory for research and development for disseminating the work of artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP).
QuillBot is the brainchild of the University of Illinois (UIUC), which left the study at the University of Illinois (UIUC) Anil Jason graduates 2017 Rohan Gupta and David Celine.
